Active Travel Consultation

There are less than 4 weeks left for you to comment on Flintshire County Council Active Travel Draft Integrated Network Map The consultation will close on 24 September 2017 and the final Integrated Network Map will be submitted to Welsh Ministers for approval early November. You can still view the Maps and Schedules online at http://www.flintshire.gov.uk/en/Resident/Streetscene/Active-Travel-Integrated-Network-Map-Consultation.aspx. Or come along and to our last public ‘Drop-in' sessions at Flint Pavilion on the 5th September 2017 between 2pm and 7pm. Councillor Carolyn Thomas, Cabinet Member for Streetscene, said: "This is your opportunity to help shape our proposals for walking and cycling infrastructure improvements. The Integrated Network Map will show our aspirations for delivering Active Travel improvements in the county over the next 15 years."

Supporting each other at Christmas

The charity is currently running a Crowdfunding campaign to raise the money needed to open a youth homeless helpline, which will be the first of its kind in Wales and will offer advice, support and a friendly voice for young people throughout the night and over the weekend.

Llamau is also once again running a Christmas present appeal and is inviting people to donate gifts suitable for women of all ages, children up to 18 and men aged 18 to 24.

From cosmetics or toiletries sets to colouring books, crayons, socks, shavers, puzzles or gift cards, there are loads of ways to get involved.
