Sporting teenager awarded talent development pass

Kyran has been ;successful in obtaining support through the Torfaen Talent Development Scheme which enables him to gain free access to leisure facilities for a year at Pontypool Active Living Centre and Cwmbran Stadium. ;

Kyran said: "The fact I can train any day of the week makes me fitter and faster and closer to making my dreams a reality.“

Kyran is now looking ahead to the super series 3 in March and is training hard for the senior league games. ; He is also attending the quad nations in March and will have the opportunity to meet the Great Britain, Australian , USA and Japanese squads.

The aim of the Talent Development Scheme is to provide support and encouragement to Torfaen’s leading talented and elite sports performers, by offering national level sports people free access at designated off-peak times to leisure and sports facilities for personal training and development. ;

Since the schemes inception Torfaen has seen over 600 athletes register on the scheme and has supported the creation of Commonwealth Games Gold champions, Olympians and Paralympians. These include:
