Torfaen 'Take a Stroll' weekly walks

The group has over one thousand registered walkers with thirty plus volunteers, along with coordinator Lynne Mattravers, who is employed by Torfaen Borough Council. ;

The aim of the walking group is to get all residents across Torfaen more active, with a greater focus on targeting areas of deprivation in order to get sedentary people and people with health problems more active.

The first walk back in the new year will be taking place in Blaenavon on Wednesday 2 January 2018, twelve noon, at Blaenavon Heritage Centre. Anyone is welcome to join any of the groups. ;For further information contact Sports Development on ; 01495 742486 or 07908 214499.
