Funding for community groups

The High Sheriff of Gwent is calling on community groups to bid for funding to support projects.

The fund’s purpose is to support community initiatives which seek to reduce crime, promote community safety and ultimately improve the quality of life for residents.

A key focus of the fund is inspiring, mentoring and supporting young people, particularly those most at risk of offending. It looks to support initiatives which divert young people from activities which can have a negative impact on communities and channel their energies into positive, constructive activities which raise aspirations and encourage people to maximise their potential.

To find out more about applying for funding please visit www.ghscf.org.uk before the 31st January 2018. ;
